            NATO Allied Drills With 12,000 Troops to Start in Latvia in September – Reports
            Arya News - The next military exercises of Latvia`s armed forces and NATO troops, Namejs 2026, involving about 12,000 personnel, will take place from September 2 to October 8 across the Baltic republic, news portal reported on Monday.

            About 12,000 servicemen and Latvian national guard volunteers, including representatives from Canada, the United States, Estonia, Lithuania and other NATO countries, will take part in the exercises, the report said. In eastern regions of Latvia, an increase in drone flights, including near the border, is expected during the drills, media reported. Military equipment and personnel will also move across Latvia, with military aircraft flights possible in the airspace, including at low altitude, and live-fire exercises at training grounds.
