Between games, fans turn to Yahoo Sports shows Baseball Bar-B-Cast and The Cooligans for analysis from baseball analysts Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman and soccer analysts Alexis Guerreros and Christian Polanco . Now, those familiar voices can be heard during live broadcasts, bringing an added layer of analysis and perspective to the game as it unfolds.
Yahoo Sports and Apple TV 1 are teaming up to deliver alternate broadcasts of live "Friday Night Baseball" and Major League Soccer games. With Yahoo Sports experts on the call, these altcasts will stream across the Yahoo Sports website and app and feature unique camera angles provided by Apple TV.

Baseball Bar-B-Cast hosts Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman will broadcast the first two innings of a pair of games from the "Friday Night Baseball" on Apple TV package, both of which have playoff implications:
Friday, Sept. 4: Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Guardians
Friday, Sept. 18: Philadelphia Phillies at New York Mets
The Yahoo Sports senior MLB writers will also host pre-game shows for each contest. All video for the Yahoo Sports streams will originate from the main Apple TV broadcast feed. Following the conclusion of the two-inning altcast, Apple TV subscribers can continue watching the full game on Apple TV.

The Cooligans duo of Alexis Guerreros and Christian Polanco will be on the call for a pair of significant MLS tilts:

Each MLS altcast will include pregame coverage and the full match. The altcast will showcase a range of camera angles provided by Apple TV and MLS Productions, from the main broadcast feed to distinctive perspectives—including a referee cam and dedicated feed shot entirely on iPhone.
The Yahoo Sports altcasts will also serve to help educate fans on how to watch Apple TV"s "Friday Night Baseball" and MLS broadcasts. Each stream will feature a direct link to the Apple TV app, where fans can subscribe to watch the main broadcast of the featured altcast matchups along with the platform"s full slate of games.
