            Cambodia, South Korea bolster anti-drug smuggling cooperation with new MoU
            Arya News - The September 7 Phnom Penh signing ceremony, was presided over by Meas Vyrith, secretary-general of the NACD’s General Secretariat, and Cho Yoon Min, director-general of the South Korean coast guard’s investigation department.

            PHNOM PENH – The National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) and the South Korean Coast Guard have inked a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the ongoing fight against illegal narcotics.
            The September 7 Phnom Penh signing ceremony, was presided over by Meas Vyrith, secretary-general of the NACD’s General Secretariat, and Cho Yoon Min, director-general of the South Korean coast guard’s investigation department.
            According to the NACD, the agreement represents a significant milestone and reflects the shared will and commitment of both nations to enhance the exchange of information and expertise.
            “The signing of this MoU is a testament to our joint determination to strengthen cooperation,” it stated.
            The NACD added that the partnership will facilitate closer coordination to more effectively combat drug trafficking, the transportation of illicit substances and other forms of transnational crime.
