Iran Warns Response to Another U.S. Attack Will Go Beyond Military Bases
Arya News Agency -WSJ Reports Iran Has Warned It Will Expand Its Response Beyond Military Bases and Target Economic and Civilian Infrastructure in the Region in the Event of Another U.S. Attack

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Iranian officials, in public statements and confidential diplomatic consultations with regional countries and mediators, have warned that any renewed U.S. attack will not be met with a response limited to American military bases in the region.

Expansion of the Scope of Potential Targets

According to the report, in the event of a resumption of U.S. and Israeli regime military attacks, Iran may expand the scope of its response to economic and civilian infrastructure across the Persian Gulf region.

Among the potential targets cited are airports, pipelines, and energy and communications infrastructure.
