Arya News - Tourists and families gathered at Anamizu Station, the starting point, when the service resumed on August 8. The station was bustling with people taking photos with the Pokémon-themed train.

ANAMIZU, ISHIKAWA – Fans of Pokémon can once again ride a Pokémon-themed train belonging to Noto Railway Co. after service was suspended for vehicle inspections.
The train started up again on Aug. 8 between Anamizu and Nanao stations. It will run two round trips per day in August and one round trip per day starting in September, with no service on Wednesdays unless it falls on a holiday.
Tourists and families gathered at Anamizu Station, the starting point, on the day service resumed, and the station was bustling with people taking photos with the Pokémon-themed train.
“There were so many Pokémon, and they were cute,” said a 6-year-old from Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture.
New one-day unlimited ride passes featuring designs of Pokémon such as Pikachu were released to coincide with the service restart. They cost ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for children. The passes can be purchased at the railway’s staffed stations or on board the trains.
