Arya News Agency - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei, reacting to the use of the term "Iran conflict" in certain diplomatic positions and statements, stressed that the phrase distorts the reality of the war and that peace should not be pursued by ignoring the responsibility of those who initiated the aggression.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, reacting to the use of the term "Iran conflict" by some parties, including in a joint statement by Qatari and French officials, emphasized that the phrase distorts the truth.
In a message on the social media platform X, Esmail Baghaei wrote: "Please do not seek to hide the truth behind misleading expressions. There is no such thing as an 'Iran conflict'; the obvious truth is the 'war of aggression against Iran' launched by the United States and Israel."
"Refusing to call 'aggression' by its true name is not neutrality but a form of moral irresponsibility. If we do not have the moral courage to name 'aggression' and identify the 'aggressor,' how can we claim to have the courage to confront injustice and the capacity to offer practical solutions or meaningfully participate in peace?"
"Peace cannot be built by appeasing aggressors, legitimizing aggression, condemning the victim, or sacrificing fundamental principles."
